Misplacing an item during your journey can be stressful, but don’t worry, it happens more often than you might think.
At Jim Bell, we do everything we can to reunite passengers with belongings left on our vehicles.

How We Handle Lost Property
Any items found on our coaches or minibuses are returned to the depot where the vehicle is based and stored safely for up to one month. If you believe you’ve left something behind, simply get in touch and we’ll check whether it has been handed in. During the holding period, you’re welcome to arrange a convenient time to collect your property.
After the Storage Period
If an item remains unclaimed after one month, Jim Bell reserves the right to dispose of it in an appropriate manner. This ensures our depots remain safe, tidy and compliant with operational procedures.
Perishable or Hygiene-Sensitive Items
For health and safety reasons, perishable goods or items that present a hygiene concern may need to be discarded immediately. This includes food, drink and any items that cannot be stored safely.
Get in Touch as Soon as Possible
If you think you’ve left something on board, contacting us quickly gives us the best chance of locating it. The sooner we know what to look for, the more likely it is that we can reunite you with your belongings.
